PILON – Los Hacheros CD Released!

I’m happy to announce that the first CD from LOS HACHEROS is available for purchase here. Los Hacheros is a really fun band I’ve been a part of for the last year, and it feels good to know that our first album – PILON, is out and about!!!

Copenhagen Blues

On October 18th I had the opportunity to perform at Copenahgen’s Great Synagogue with Roberto Rodriguez and the Cuban Jewish All Stars. It’s a unique band fusing Klezmer melodies with Cuban rhythms and a lot of improvisation. Check out some videos here.

Jazz Standard with Edmar Castaneda

On Oct. 10th and 11th I joined phenomenal Colombian Harpist Edmar Castaneda and super drummer Clarence Penn for two nights at New York’s JAZZ STANDARD. I love playing Edmar’s compositions, which meld Colombian traditions with Jazz sensibilities, and I look forward to the next time:
